Sounds crazy that something so seemingly ridiculous as toothpaste could really get rid of pimples. There are many over the counter pimple drying agents and acne creams that promise a faster cure for pimples but eventually do little or nothing at all. 

Toothpaste (has to be plain white toothpaste) has long been a natural drying agent and very effective in drying pimples.I can remember the first time my sister told me to apply toothpaste when i had pimples, i thought she was joking but after much persusaion from her, i decided to give it a try and it worked like magic! 

How it works

It has to be a plain white toothpaste not a gel toothpaste and you only need to apply it dire tly to the affected part, not as an overall face mask. For best results apply prior to bedtime and allow the paste to stay overnight as it gives it more time to dry and draw out the impurities. Cleanse skin the same way you do every other morning and believe me you will definitely notice a difference. 

Side effects

Skin types vary, some people complain that the usage of toothpaste on pimples produces a long-lasting brown mark that resembles a burn on their face. Such effects result if you don't use the right paste the right way. Either you didn't use the plain white paste or you used it as an overall face mask. Another reason for this is that it always occurs with people with much melanin i.e those with darker skin.

Sloths are solitary animals which give birth to a single offspring about once in a year. Some sloths can be three-toed, with a black mask around their eyes, a stubby tail, forelimbs that are much longer than the hindlimbs and a yellow- gold patch between their shoulders.

The two-toed species have forelimbs that are about the same size with their hind limbs, long hair which is brownish-gold and soft to touch. The sloth always sleeps curled up in a ball to conserve heat. Its undercoat helps to conserve this heat and a sloth can sleep non-stop for twenty hours in a day!

The sloth's low body temperature gives it an incredibly low metabolic rate. Leaves may take up to a month to go through  various stages of digestion before passing into a sloth's small intestine. A sloth can be clumsy and awkward on the ground but when on the branches of trees, it is so graceful.

Sloths have high immune system. They have the ability to withstand doses of poison that would be lethal to other mammals. Hence a better understanding of the sloth's immune defences can be helpful in medical research.

Zoo Ave in La Garita de Alajuela, Coasta Rica is a center for the rehabilitation and return to the wild of native animals. Here, you see many sloths (one of the world's slowest animals).

The most interesting thing about sloths is that they only defecate and urinate once in a week, and when they do, they dig a hole and bury their excrement. Such interesting little creatures :)

Tourism: Shark Bay...A marine wonderland

Shark Bay is a large, shallow inlet located at the Westernmost point in Australia. In 1629, Dutch explorer Francois Pelsaert called this desert area "a bare and cursed country, devoid of grass.":

Today, over 120,000 people flock to Shark Bay annually.So remarkable are the attractions of this remote region that it was placed on the World Heritage list in 1991. Shark Bay contains the largest and most diverse sea-grass meadows in the world.

The sea grasses which are actually flowering plants, support a dizzying array of marine life. True to its name, Shark Bay hosts a large number of Sharks of more than a dozen species. These include the fearsome tiger shark and the gigantic whale shark.

Sharks share these waters with dolphins, exposing the myths that where you find dolphins you will not find sharks. Researchers have found that about 70 percent of dolphins in this area bear marks from Shark attacks. Also, thousands of humpback whales stop at Shark Bay to rest on their annual migration South and a good number of turtles arrive each year to lay eggs on the beaches.

However, the greatest attractions of Shark Bay are the bottlenosed dolphins of Monkey Mia; a beach area on the edge of Denham Penissula. Monkey Mia is one of the few places in the world where wild dolphins regularly approach shore to interact and play with humans. Dolphins often with their young, visit Monkey Mia beach most mornings. Crowds of excited visitors await their arrival and play with them, some even take pictures with them. Its really so interesting and fun!
